There Are Rules Inside the Park
If you plan to get married inside Smoky Mountains National Park, you will need to contact the National Park Service and obtain a permit. The only other minor complication is that you must obtain a Tennessee marriage license. The requirements are minimal as you do not need to complete a blood test and there isn’t a waiting period. You can use your license on the same day you obtain it, and the license remains valid for 30 days.
