Ford Bronco with modified hood

Are you planning to be in the Townsend, TN area April 10-13, 2019? If so, you won’t want to miss the fun and excitement of the Bronco Super Celebration. A regular annual event in the region, it takes place at the popular Talley Ho Inn just one mile from an entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

About the Bronco Super Celebration

While this is one of the best ways for enthusiasts of the classic Ford Bronco to see a diverse array of tricked out, restored and enhanced models of the iconic vehicle, it is also a scenic driving event.

That is because it includes the Bronco Super Cel, which begins on April 9 and runs through April 13. With show field hours every day and Bronco cruise ins for most, the days also include events such as drives to spots like Newfound Gap, the Roaring Fork Nature Trail, along the famous The Dragon (also popular with motorcyclists), the all new Foothills Parkway Extension, a drive through Cades Cove, a tour of Townsend and the “Frank is Back” tour that is an adventure tour that does not pose danger to the vehicle, but may include gravel roads.

The event also incorporates things like the “Broncolympics”, daily food trucks on the show field grounds, competitive shows, and a final awards ceremony on the last day of the event. The final days also include bonfires on two evenings. There is also usually a group picture on the same day that the awards ceremony is held!

Note that the final day of the event is a Bronco ONLY parking day on the show field, and there are also plenty of vendor’s spots available.
