Saturdays beginning May 24: Bill Landry Cades Cove Tourlandry-bill_611_9999_fill-1

Join us on an intimate guided tour of Cades Cove and hear the tales and adventures of “The Heartland Series” from the storyteller himself, Bill Landry. The tours depart at 9:30 a.m from the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center in Townsend. Tickets are $50 per person with light snacks and a cold beverage included. More information can be found here

June 4-11: Elkmont Firefly viewing

Just once annually, thousands of viewers gather at the Elkmont Firefly Viewing event in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to witness the breathtaking, naturally occurring Photinus caolinus phenomenon. In early June, this firefly species congregates near the Elkmont Campground and flashes synchronously. Tickets are just $1.50, and they’re going fast. June 28: Freedom Fest at the Alcoa Duck Pond

Celebrate Independence Day early at the 36th annual FreedomFest at the Alcoa Duck Pond. The FREE evening will include a fireworks show, food vendors and an entertainment stage. All ages are welcome and you can find more information here!

July 4: 4th of July Celebration & Fireworks

July 11-13: Smoky Mountain Classic

USSSA World Tournament berths are at stake as the nation’s top softball teams go head to head at the 46th annual Smoky Mountain Classic.
