Biking: Bicycling and Motorcycling 

Not far from the boundaries of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park lies miles of scenic secondary roads. They wind through wooded knobs, beside cool streams and meander through rolling farmlands with panoramic views of lofty mountain crests beyond. Swinging bridges and country stores, white-framed churches and old cemeteries add local interest to the routes and are particularly appropriate for use by bicyclists and motorcyclists.

• Good Rides:
  --Foothills Parkway from Walland to Chilhowee Lake gives beautiful views of the Smokies on one side and the Valley and Ridge on the other.
  --Highway 129 from Chilhowee Lake to Deal's Gap is 318 curves in 11 miles.
